The training methodology is focused on the practice of all the concepts introduced, being an active and participatory course. The trainer will guide the participants in the development of the practices, favoring the fixation of concepts and tools, and ensuring that they finish the course with ideas on how to improve Kanban systems in operation and how to implement Kanban Systems at the organizational level.

- Understand and focus on customer needs and expectations.
- Manage work while allowing workers to self-organize around it.
- Regularly review the network and policies to improve outcomes.
- Visualize: make work and its flow visible.
- Limit WIP (Work in Progress) – Stop starting, start finishing!
- Manage flow: identify and address obstacles preventing work from flowing.
- Make policies explicit: ensure agreed-upon policies are visible to all stakeholders.
- Establish feedback loops: set the right cadence to provide direction.
- Improve collaboratively, evolve experimentally – Using the scientific method.
It is recommended to have experience and knowledge of Scrum.
Students who complete the course will receive the Scrum Kanban Practitioner (SKP) certification from Kanban University.
There is no certification exam. Participants receive the certificate based on attendance and continuous assessment.
